Established in the mid 60’s by Allan Hart, Harts Body Shop and Harts Paint Shop are one of Palmerston North’s longest running business.

Remaining in the Hart family until the early nineties, the body shop was sold to current owner Steve Perrin while the paint shop was sold to Chris Calder.

Today the body shop is still owned and operated by Steve, while the paint shop was purchased in 2010 by Jake Baker at which time it was rebranded to Harts Automotive Refinishers.

Since the beginning Harts has had a strong reputation and the name has been synonymous with quality workmanship offering paint finishes that meet customers’ budgets and requirements.

Having the ability and equipment to spec jobs up or down depending on customer requirements can be difficult, but with highly trained and conscientious paint technicians, and the latest in paint technology this is achieved effortlessly.
